Obituary for Christine M. Sigel (Milstead) Christine M. Sigel, 92, of Manchester, passed away on Sunday January 6, 2019 at Homewood at Plum Creek, Hanover, PA. Born December 10, 1926 in Georgetown, DC, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Catherine (Carroll) Milstead. She was the wife of David Sigel.

She had enjoyed reading and gardening. Her flower beds were her pride and joy. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, where she taught Sunday School.

She was a graduate of Towson State College and had been a teacher at Manchester Elementary and North Carroll Middle Schools. Surviving in addition to her husband is a daughter, Linda Butcher of Westminster; son, Michael Harris of Hampstead, MD; twin sister Ernestine Munroe of Catonsville; 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, Paul E. Harris and a brother Jerry Milstead.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday January 17, 2019 at 11: 00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Manchester.
