Carroll Wesley Lain, 69, of Paducah, died Thursday, July 7th, 2018 at his home. Carroll was a retired HVAC self-employed Tech, and was a US Army veteran of two tours in Vietnam. He was also a member of Southland Baptist Temple of Paducah.

Carroll is survived by his wife, Sunshine Lain; five children, Kenna Kingston of Paducah, Stephen Hendley of Mayfield, Joey Cowger of Mayfield, Carra Vinegar of Paducah, and Sara O’Shea of Crystal City, MO. ; two siblings, Sissy Riley of Mayfield, and Windell Lain of Mayfield; sixteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Curtis Lain, and Willie Shelton Hurd Haynes.

; and two brothers. A memorial service will be held at Southland Baptist Temple on Saturday, July 7th, 2018 in the main chapel starting at 11am with Topper Council officiating. Lindsey Funeral Home of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.
