William E. Leach, 85, of Benton passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at his residence. William was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Prior to losing his sight he was an avid bowler.

He accomplished the amazing feat of bowling a perfect 300 game several years after being declared legally blind. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. Surviving are his wife, Lola B. Leach of Benton; three sons, Raymond Leach of Eddyville, Michael Leach of Benton, and Mark (Kimberly) Leach of Lyles, TN; one ex-daughter-in- law, Barbie Cavitt of Benton; two grandsons, Dalton Leach and Zachary Leach both of Benton; two granddaughters, Alexa Leach and Savannah Leach both of Lyles, TN; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Morrel “Bud” Leach; and three sisters, Wilma Giles, Patsy Hemmer, and Muriel Leach; his father Oather Leach; mother and stepfather, Bertha and Armand Alexander. He will be cremated per his wishes. Online condolences may be left at www.
