Ron Courson, 74, of Golconda, died Sunday afternoon, September 16th, 2018 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center of Paducah. Ron was a retired Color Tech for GE Plastics. Ron is survived by his wife of 15 years, Carolyn; four children, Steve (Pam) Courson of Evansville, IND.

, Rhonda (Matt) Kivlin of Westwood, MASS. , Becky (Tim) Drake of New Haven, IL. , and Matt (Mandi) Courson of Marion, IL.

; one step daughter, Rae (Robert) Shinsato of Hawaii; one step son, Dean Garcia of Seattle, WA. ; one sister, Glenda Pollard of Louisville, KY. ; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and several nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Lucille Smith Courson. A celebration of life service will be announced at a later date. Lindsey Funeral Home of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.
