Catherine Anne (Schrems) Reeves, 60, of New Stanton, died Saturday, June 9, 2018 at home from complications due to lung cancer. She was born September 14, 1957 in East Cleveland, OH and was the daughter of the late Michael D. Schrems and Ann (Riggenbach) Schrems who survives. Cathy was a graduate of Seton Hill College.

She worked for nearly 35 years in a job she loved at Blackburn Center; she truly felt that her work and personal philosophies were joined in the fight waged against the oppression of women. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, William K. Reeves and their children – Jessica Marie Clark, her husband, Garret, and daughter, Sylvia Paisley Clark and Robert Kuschke Reeves and his wife, Rebecca. Cathy was the oldest of ten children and surviving are nine siblings: Mary E. Schrems; Michael J. Schrems and his wife, Joanne, and their children, Melanie, Michael, and Jillian; David W. Schrems and his wife, Gevelyn; Anne F. Schrems Aiken and her husband, James, and their sons, Gareth and Jeremiah; William H. Schrems and his wife, Susan, and their son, Connor; Stephen A. Schrems and his partner, Wendy Las-Luzi, and Stephen’s children, Lillian and Henry Tobin-Schrems; James A. Schrems and his wife, Julianne Lawton; Elizabeth A. Soltis and her husband, Edward, and their children, Edward, Caroline and John; and Margaret E. Schrems and her partner, Christopher Aubell.

Also surviving are other nieces and nephews – Brandon and Nicholas Musarra; Elizabeth Milburn and her husband, Francis Herrera, and their children, Elijah and Ezra Herrera; Matthew Soltis and his son, Dimitri Wilson. Cathy loved her family very much! Please join Cathy’s friends and family in a celebration of her life on Saturday, June 23, 2018, from 10 am until 12 pm at KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME 524 N. Main Street, Greensburg where a service will begin at 12 PM.
