Catherine C. Nalevanko, 92, of South Greensburg, died Friday, July 20, 2018 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. She was born November 23, 1925 in Carpentertown, a daughter of the late John and Anna (Kaputa) Bohatch. She was a member of St. Bruno Roman Catholic Church, South Greensburg and the Rosary Altar Society of the church.

Catherine was best known for her baking and cooking. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Nalevanko on December 4, 2010; her infant son, Gerard; her daughter-in-law, Jacqueline (Kowalowski) Nalevanko; four brothers, John, Steve, Andrew and Paul Bohatch; and three sisters, Mary Kujawa, Helen Baldessari and Ann Rysz. She is survived by her son, John G. Nalevanko, Sr., of Greensburg; and two grandchildren, Nicole Ann Nalevanko and John G. Nalevanko, Jr. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM Tuesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC.

, 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. Prayers will begin at 9:30 AM Wednesday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated at 10 AM in St. Bruno Roman Catholic Church, South Greensburg. Interment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.
