Frances Shandor Cunningham, 78 of Greensburg, passed away Friday, July 13, 2018 in Greensburg Care Center. She was the first baby born in the Mon Valley on January 1, 1940 the daughter of the late Helen and Joseph Shandor. Frances was married to Robert E. Cunningham of Greensburg for 33 years.

Robert preceded her in death in 2006. She is survived by her brother, Gerald Buchko of Millersville PA and nephews and nieces, Gregory Buchko, Millersville PA, Amy Campbell of Warminster, PA, Matthew Buchko of Elk Ridge, MD, Nancy Wagner of Lancaster PA and Glen Buchko of Lancaster PA. In addition she leaves six grand nieces and nephews.

She was loved and cared for by her many friends and her special friend since early childhood, Judy Panabianco of Greensburg. Frances was an X ray technician, having graduated from Mercy Hospital. She worked in several medical practices in the area after graduation.

Family and friends will be received from 11am to 12:30 pm on Thursday at the KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home 524 N. Main Street, Greensburg. Prayers of transfer will be held at 12:30pm Thursday in the funeral home, followed by Frances’ funeral Mass at 1pm in Blessed Sacrament Cathedral 300 N. Main Street, Greensburg. Private interment will be in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.
