Capocci, age 77, of Medford, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 after a courageous, hard-fought battle against cancer. Catherine was born in the Mayfair section of Philadelphia in 1941. She graduated from St. Hubert’s High School and worked as a secretary until her marriage.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Daniel P. Capocci; daughter Anne (Paul) Schields of Hainesport, NJ; son Daniel T. (Annie) Capocci of Medford, NJ; and Catherine (Joseph) McNulty of Frederick, MD. She will be greatly missed by her six grandchildren: Nicole and Paul Schields; Samantha Capocci; and Jacklyn, Joseph, and Matthew McNulty. She is also survived by two brothers, Thomas (Frani) Stokes of Philadelphia and John (Patricia) Stokes of Cinnaminson, NJ.

She was predeceased by her parents Thomas and Catherine Stokes and her sister, Maryann Gaffney. She enjoyed her winters in Florida. She cherished the many friendships there and those that spanned over 50 years and were celebrated on many occasions through travel and reunions.

Most of all, she was devoted to her family. She was and will always be the heart of our family. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Monday, March 11, 2019 from 10:00 AM until the Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM at St. Mary of the Lakes Church, 40 Jackson Rd.

, Medford, NJ 08055. Interment will follow in Jesus, Bread of Life Catholic Cemetery, Mt. Laurel, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to Regional Cancer Center Associates, 175 Madison Ave. Mt. Holly, NJ 08060.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Mathis Funeral Home, Medford, NJ.
