Obituary for Catherine Havron Catherine Havron passed peacefully from earthly life into eternity on Thursday, June, 28, 2018, at the age of 90. She was born Nina Catherine Finchum in Russellville, AR on February 24, 1928. She married John C. Havron in 1959, and he was the love of her life.

Catherine worked as a cook at Hilldale High School in Muskogee until retiring in 1987. She was a devoted mother to her daughter, Laurie, and a faithful Christian example in life and service to others. She loved butterflies, music, art/crafts, reading, and spending time with her daughter and grand-dogs, Romy and Flynn.

Catherine will be lovingly remembered by her daughter and best friend, Laurie Havron of Muskogee, OK; son, Lee Bewley and wife Esther of Russellville, AR; sister, Christine Nye of Brandon, MS; grand-daughters Nina Williams and Tasha Gray; great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Calvin and Julia Evelyn (Coffee) Finchum; brothers, Charles Finchum and Calvin Finchum; sisters, Marjorie Moore and Helen Rudder, and husband, John C. Havron. A family conducted memorial celebrating Catherine’s life will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at 10:30 am in the chapel at Oklahoma Methodist Manor in Tulsa, OK.
