Catherine “Kitty” M. Fenton, age 95, of Hyde Park, passed away Friday, March 1, 2019 at St. Margaret Hall in Cincinnati. She was born on July 13, 1923 in New Market, Virginia to the late Raymond Walter and Leila Pearl {Firor} Zimmerman. Kitty married the late Virgil “Tex” Fenton, while he was stationed in the Navy, and they enjoyed more than 50 years of marriage.

She retired from Shillito’s, where she worked in the design studio. Kitty enjoyed tending to her fish pond and watching sports on television, especially baseball and tennis. She collected angels and turtles.

Kitty adored dogs, and owned many over the years. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Kitty is survived by her grandchildren Roxanne (Ron) Burnette, Chris (Karen) Katsanis, Thalia (Jerry) Shepard; great grandchildren Ali (Matt) DeYoung, Kelsey, Kayla, and Connor Katsanis, Cameron and Avery Martin; many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Virline Henn, brothers Raymond and Ken Zimmerman. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 from 12pm until 1pm at Vorhis and Ryan Funeral Home, with a funeral service to follow at 1pm. Entombment at Spring Grove Cemetery.
