Obituary for Cathy D. Verden Cathy Dianne Dobbins Verden, 65, widow of Jimmy Lee Verden, passed away on December 3, 2018. A native of Greenville county, daughter of the late Willard E. and Willie Mae Greer Dobbins, she was a retired employee of Walmart and a member of Milford Baptist Church. Surviving are one daughter, Crystal Dianne Smith of Campobello; two sons, Jason Lee Verden of Greer and Bradley Scott Verden of Greer; one sister Glenda Pittman of Greer; a sister and brother-in-law, Jerry and Gail Terry of Greer and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 6, 2018 at The Wood Mortuary conducted by Rev. Larry Mason. Visitation will be held 12:30-1:45 p.m. Thursday, at the mortuary.

The families are at their respective homes. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 301 University Ridge, Suite 5850, Greenville, SC 29601. Online condolences may be made at www.
