Cecelia’s Obituary Cecelia Mae Sigmon, 62 of Gastonia, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2019, at her home. She was born July 22, 1956, in Gaston County, daughter of the late Charles Franklin Sr and Teresa Fowler Pennington. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Miles Russell.

Left to cherish her memories are her son, Ben “BJ” Sigmon; sister, Judy Messer; grandchildren, Josh, Jordan, and Nick Wall; and 6 great grandchildren. All services are private. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
