Obituary for Cecile Langlais THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING AND CARING FOR THE FAMILY OF CECILE LANGLAIS WATERTOWN – Cecile M. Langlais, age 97 of Watertown, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at the Apple Rehabilitation Center in Watertown. She was the widow of Gilbert Langlais. Mrs. Langlais was born January 11, 1921 in Caribou Maine, the daughter of the late Edmond and Annie (Bishop) King.

Her family then moved to Lawrence, Massachusetts where she grew up and was educated in local schools. She was employed for many years as a Bookkeeper at LaChance Construction Co. Ceil loved reading, movies and music especially country western and was a deeply spiritual person. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother and she loved life to the fullest through the simple pleasures of life.

She was a parishioner of the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception and will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her. She leaves to cherish her many memories, her son, James Langlais and his wife, Roberta of Watertown, her daughters, Leona Graham and her husband, Joseph of South Carolina and Karen O’Donnell and her husband, Richard of Torrington as well as her 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Langlais will be held on Monday, January 7, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home 1987 East Main St. Waterbury. Burial will follow in Mt Olivet Cemetery, Watertown. Relatives and friends may visit with Cecile’s family on Monday morning from 10:00 till 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
