A memorial service will be held 2pm, Friday, March 8, at Court Street United Methodist Church, 225 W. Court St. Flint, MI. Rev.

Jeremy Peters officiating. Chad graduated from Lakeville High School, loved to play hockey, had a love for cars (vintage and high end cars), he volunteered endless hours to support the scouting program, along with being a Scout and a Boy Scout Master. Chad was very nurturing and caring to not only his friends and family, but to his pets as well.

Chad loved a good tattoo, especially for Sailor Jerry vintage style tattoos. Chad had experience as a financial officer, appraiser and worked as a realtor in many different capacities. He treasured the legacy left by his grandfather – the responsibility and respect that goes with the right to bear arms.

Chad is survived by his parents Henry Lee and Teresa K.(Truex) Craig, Curtis Simpson-to whom Chad was a caregiver and played a parental role in raising, aunt and uncles Cheryl and Spencer Carpenter, Mike and Phoebe Truex, Mindy and Brad Bussey, CJ and Johnny Faye Craig, Martha Craig, and he was blessed with several cousins. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Greater Flint Boys and Girls Clubs, 3701 N. Averill Ave, Flint, MI 48506.
