Chad Allen Marlow, 50 of Winter Garden, Florida lost his battle with colon cancer May 21, 2019. Chad was born May 26, 1968 in New Castle, Indiana to James and Linda Marlow. He is survived by his sons Brady and Brett Marlow, parents Linda (Penn) and James Marlow, brother James (Clay) Marlow, sister Jodi (Marlow) Wooten along with her husband William (Bill) Wooten and sons Collin, Cole, Carter Wooten, and many loving family and friends.

Chad is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Lola (Nix) and Benjamin (Frank) Penn, and his paternal grandparents Reba (Mills) and Joseph Marlow. Chad graduated class of 1986 from New Castle Chrysler High School in New Castle Indiana, then attended Ball State University and majored in communications. In 1991, Chad began an over 10 year career with Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky, Ohio.

To be closer to family in 2001, Chad moved to Indianapolis and managed the Hoosier Country Store in the Indianapolis Airport. Then, in 2005 Chad and his then wife, JoElle (Gray), moved to Orlando where Chad enjoyed working for Universal Studios as a rides host on The Mummy. Chad then began his successful career with Cracker Barrel as a Retail and Training Manager where he remained until his diagnosis.

Chad enjoyed taking full advantage of all Florida has to offer and frequented the theme parks, water parks, and beaches. His greatest joy came from his two sons Brady and Brett. There was hardly a time you would be able to have a conversation with him before he pulled out his phone to show off multiple pictures of the boys.
