Charlene V. Gray of the Darlington Section of Pawtucket, passed away after an illness. She was born in Cranston, RI, a daughter of the late Charles W. Jones and Sarah (Morse) Jones. She has lived in Pawtucket since 1992 and previously lived in Central Falls.

She was a lover of animals, enjoyed the outdoors, enjoyed concerts at Slater Park, loved the beach, she was an avid soap opera fan and also enjoyed game shows and Charlene wasn’t a stranger at yard sales or at the Casinos. She was devoted to her Granddaughter Anica Marie Gray and just simply enjoyed life. Besides her Granddaughter, she leaves a daughter, Lisa Marie Gray of Cranston, three sons, Paul D. Jones and his fiance Thiane DeMello, John W. Gray and Charles W. Gray all of Pawtucket.

She also leaves a brother Sammy Jones of Fall River, MA. She was the sister of the late Charles Jones, Doris Williams, Nancy Handy and Harriet Ruppert. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 25 in the Coelho Funeral Home at 12:45 PM.

Relatives and friends are welcome to attend and may visit from 11 AM.
