Obituary for Charlene Widener Tankersley Charlene Widener Tankersley, age 57, of 1903 Mt. Lebanon Road Passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at her home. She was born in Whitmire and was the daughter of Dianne L. Summer of Clinton and the late Charles David Widener Sr

Mrs. Tankersley was a former employee of Conso and Dollar General Distribution Center in Union. She was a member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle of God in Buffalo, SC. Charlene was a proud cancer survivor of two years.

In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband, Charles E. Tankersley Jr. of the home; daughter, Jessica Michelle Harris (Matt) of Greer; granddaughter, Delilah Harris; brother, Charles David Widener (Teresa) Jr. of Union; Cintra Conner of Whitmire and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Whitmire Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Gibbs Cancer Center, 101 E Wood St, Spartanburg, SC 29303. The family will be at the home of her mother, 514 Caldwell Street Clinton, SC. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.
