Charles A. Shekon, age 75, of East Brunswick, peacefully passed away on Thursday October 18, 2018, at his residence. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Funeral Service on Tuesday October 22, 2018, 10 am, at the Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home 211 Westfield Ave. , Clark.

Entombment to follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Visitation Monday 4-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the V.F.W. of East Brunswick Post 133.

Born in Jersey City, to Stanley and Stanislawa, Mr. Shekon resided in Colonia before residing in East Brunswick for the past 12 years. Mr. Shekon worked as a recruiter for the U.S. Navy for 33 years retiring in 1994. He was a member of the V.F.W. East Brunswick Post 133 and an avid NY Jets fan.

Beloved husband for 49 years of Lorraine (nee Lacheta); he is survived by 1 son Ben; 3 sisters Penny, Dorothy, Edna; 2 grandchildren Samantha and Andrew.
