Obituary for Charles A. Wilkins Charles A. Wilkins, 72, a longtime resident of Wingdale, NY, passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY. Born on March 8, 1946 in Yonkers, NY he was the son of the late Charles Alfred Wilkins Sr. and Regina (McLaughlin) Wilkins. Mr. Wilkins was a dental technician who owned and operated Wingdale Dental Lab in Wingdale, NY for 39 years.
He was also an auxiliary member of the VFW Post #5444 in Amenia, NY. Mr. Wilkins is survived by his wife, Gabriele A. Kircheis of New Milford, CT; a daughter, Gail DelBene of Mahopac, NY and two sons, Robert and Paul Wilkins of Poughkeepsie. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Matthew and Mia DelBene; a longtime friend and colleague for 40 years, Linda Halliday of Pleasant Valley and best friend, Tony Baldino of Wingdale, NY.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, November 30, 2018 at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
