OBITUARY Charles Albert Coulter October 24, 1927 – October 26, 2018 Charles Albert Coulter was born to Ralph and Veda Coulter on their Marshalltown Iowa family farm October 24, 1927. From an early age Chuck demonstrated his ability to make something out of nothing. He fixed his bicycle tire using a garden house and took apart a working lawnmower and put it back together modified and enhanced.

After high school Chuck joined and served in the US Army. He continued government work for 32 years through Civil Service. His duties included testing and many mechanical avenues.

He also maintained his own auto and lawnmower repair business out of his garage for decades mentoring, helping and touching many lives. He married Ella Imogene Taylor on May 1, 1955 and they enjoyed 63 years together. The happy couple bought their first and only home in Security in 1957.

After retiring at age 55, Chuck and Jean continued to enjoy fishing, hunting, camping, wintering in Arizona and many adventures together for more than 20 years. Chuck often said he strived to be an asset and not a liability in life. Mission accomplished!

Family and friends had the privilege of celebrating his 91st birthday with an open house sharing many memories. Chuck was proceeded in death by his parents Charles Ralph Coulter and Veda Edna (Giles) Coulter. He is survived by his loving wife, Ella and children Cathy (Roger) Kremer, Janet (Irwin) Martinez and Brian Coulter along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren and his sister, June Coulter Theodore.

Chuck trusted Christ as his personal Savior in 1969. He loved and served the Lord for many years. Chuck’s stated his desire that each of you would also trust Christ as your personal Savior and join him one day in heaven.

Chuck often quoted this verse: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow of things in heaven, things in earth and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
