DATELINE: KINGS MOUNTAIN, NORTH CAROLINA Charles Alvin Queen Charles Alvin Queen, 66, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on October 26, 2018 at Cleveland HealthCare System-Cleveland in Shelby, NC. He was born in Cherokee County, NC, to the late Alvin Jewel Queen and Mary Hickey Queen. Charles served in the United States Army and was a member of the American Legion Riders Post 155.

He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and helping others. He was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother and friend.
