OBITUARY Charles B. Williams April 30, 1938 – July 12, 2018 Charles B. “Charlie” Williams, age 80 of Ravenna, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2018, at his home. He was born April 30, 1938, in Powellton, West Virginia, to parents Albert and Opal Lee (Belcher) Williams. Charlie worked for the Ravenna Township Service Department before retiring from Maple Grove Cemetery.

He was a former member of the Ravenna VFW and American Legion Posts. Charlie enjoyed fishing, hunting, throwing horseshoes, and attending annual family reunions. Charlie is survived by his children: Charles (Ingrid) Williams Jr. of Texarkana, TX, Samuel (Stacy) Williams of Newton Falls, OH, and Christina Williams of Ravenna, OH, as well as 11 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by his brother Billy Joe (Wanda) Williams and many generations of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, his 5 brothers, and his 5 sisters. Graveside services will be officiated by Pastor David Ballert on Thursday, July 19, 2018, at 2:00 PM at Maple Grove Cemetery.
