Obituary Charles (Chuck) R. Vola, 96, of Rockford, IL passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 24, 2019. Chuck was born in St. Louis, MO on April 7, 1922, son of John J. and Effie R. (Swenson) Vola. He married Rosemary H. (Hurley) Vola at St. James Catholic Church in Rockford on October 29, 1955.

Chuck graduated from New Milford High School. He was a proud Army Veteran of World War II, having served as a Sergeant in the 63rd (Blood and Fire) Division.
