Cobleskill- Charles M. Cohen, 80, of Pleasantview Drive, died at his residence on Friday, July 20, 2018. Born July 2, 1938 in New York City, Charlie moved to Schoharie County forty years ago. He has lived in the care of Schoharie County ARC and had been a laborer at Toe Path Industries when his health allowed him.

He enjoyed bowling and won many a trophy. Charlie has a collection of over two hundred coffee mugs, which he was proud to display. Although he is of Jewish faith, he loved Christmas with the trees and lights, along with gifts for both Chanukah and Christmas.

Other activities that brought pleasure to him were having senior meals together, helping other people, spending time with his peers and staff that helped support him, especially Ruth Eisner, Stella Caiozzo, Larry Addams, and David Nidey. Kaddish will be held at 11 AM on Monday, July 23, 2018 at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill, NY. Burial will follow in Cobleskill Rural Cemetery.
