Obituary for Charles D. Bauer Print Services for Charles D. Bauer, 89, of Willoughby, will be at 7 PM on Friday, February 8, 2019 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. The Rev. Larry A. Pozza will officiate at the service.

Friends and family may call from 3-7 PM on Friday, prior to the service at the funeral home. Mr. Bauer passed away Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Wickliffe Country Place. Born June 17, 1929 in Wheeling, WV, he was a longtime Lake County resident.

He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and a 48-year member of Erieside Church on the Boulevard in Willowick. Mr. Bauer was the first employee to work for 50 years at the former Bailey Controls in Wickliffe and was very proud that he only missed five days of work during that time. Charlie is survived by many nieces and nephews and their families.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Jane (McCuskey) Bauer and his sisters, Rosemary David and Ruth Peterson. Private family burial will be in Orange Center Cemetery in Pepper Pike. To send flowers to the family of Charles D. Bauer, please visit our Heartfelt Sympathies Store.
