Charles D. Wucherer a longtime resident of Hastings-on-Hudson passed away on March 23, 2019. He was 87 years old, born May 29, 1931 in Bronx, NY to the late Christian and Else Wucherer. Charles earned a Bachelor’s degree from Brooklyn Polytechnical Institute in 1954, proudly served in the United States Army from 1954-1956 and worked as a Chemical Engineer at Stauffer Chemical in Dobbs Ferry, NY from 1957-1983.

After leaving Stauffer Chemical he worked as a Deputy Building Inspector in Hastings-on-Hudson from 1986 until his retirement in 2011.
