Obituary for Charles Durand Castillo Charles Durand Castillo was born on October 5, 1951 in San Antonio, TX and went to be with the Lord on July 4, 2018. He is preceded in death by his mother, Delia Castillo and sister Annette Castillo. Charles is survived by his father, Paul Castillo; his loving wife of 39 years, Dolores Pacheco Castillo; sons, John J. Castillo (Jenny), Christopher P. Castillo; grandchildren, Kayla Diaz, Isabella Castillo, John J. Castillo Jr.; sisters, Linda Almanza, Lillian Cronk, Debra DeVilbiss (Tod), Arlene Ortiz and brother, Arthur Castillo (Melissa).

Charles was a member of Omega Church for over 28 years. He served in the Air Force and was very proud to be a Vietnam Era Veteran. He enjoyed watching old western movies, doing his coin collection research and wishing for another Camaro.

Charles will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A special thank you for their caring and compassion to: Dr. Iveth Soza and staff, Dr. Syed Raza and staff; and a very loving thank you to Embrace Hospice and staff. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South.
