Obituary for Lynn Ann Lindemann Lynn Ann Lindemann, nee Morton, passed peacefully on July 6, 2018 at Vitas Hospice in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 72. Lynn is survived by her husband, Jerry Lindemann; her mother, Mae Morton; brother, Kenneth Morton and his wife, Pat Spruell; sister, Marilyn (Laird) Garland and her husband, Edward; cousin, Rick Stikeleather; second cousin, Richard Ryan Stikeleather; special cousin, Greg Stikeleather and his companion, MaBelle Castillo; nephew, Shaun Morton and wife, Sara, great niece, and nephew, Ashley and Alex Morton. She is preceded in death by her father, Bill Morton of Litchfield Illinois.
Lynn was born on January 30, 1946 in Belleville, Illinois to Mae and Bill Morton. She received a Baccalaureate degree in English/Drama from Eastern Illinois University in 1968. Following a move to San Antonio, she was awarded a Master’s degree in Business at UTSA in 1984.
In 1990 Lynn married the man she deserved to spend her life with, Jerry Lindemann, a local artist. After moving to Bulverde, Texas, she began a career in Health Education at University Hospital in San Antonio where she retired as a Human Rerdzt/ Leader. She was an active and dedicated member of the American Society for Training and Development and often mentored friends and co-workers in her field.
Previous to that she was the Event Coordinator for the Convention Center and prior to that, she was the Director of the Epilepsy Foundation in San Antonio. Over 28 years the couple welcomed numerous pets into their home and together created a friendly Nature Preserve in the country. Lynn was accomplished at arts and crafts and often worked on creative home projects with her husband.
She was a talented individual who loved decorating and who was passionate about her pets. Friends and family will remember Lynn as a smart, beautiful, talented and compassionate woman with a positive approach to life. She always undertook every project, whether in school, at work or at home with a total commitment to getting it right and making it look great.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North, 3401 Cherry Ridge Drive. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Lynn’s life. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lynn’s memory may be made to a pet charity.
