Charles E. Powell, Jr., 71 of Brighton, TN passed away on January 17th 2019. He was preceded in death by his mother Margaret Montgomery Powell and his dad Charles E. “Buster” Powell, Sr… He is survived by his life’s partner and the love his life his wife Cynthia Green Powell of the home and he also leaves a family that he adored and loved so deeply including his 3 daughters, Glynda Charlene Alphin (Terry) of Brighton, TN; Allison D Williams (Matthew) of Cabot, AR and Crystal Lamar-Wilson (Michael) of Atoka, TN; 8 adorable grandchildren, Jareth Jennings (Elsa), Alexis (Lexi) Shelby, Wyatt Shelby, Tyler Williams, Faith (Faithie Poo) Williams, Bradley (Mickey) Rush, Kayce and Cassidy Childs and 4 great grandchildren Pyper Williams, Paityn Williams, Paxtyn Williams, Cyrus Jennings. Charles was long term employee, Vice President and Chief Operations Officer for EnviroRem, Inc. where he loved his work, co-workers and especially Jane Atkins.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving during and in the Viet Nam conflict. Love for his family and hearing the laughter and seeing happiness for his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were what brought him the most happiness in life.
