Charles Elmo Pierce, age 75 of Leitchfield, passed away Saturday, June 9th 2018 at his residence. He was born, September 10th 1942 in Leitchfield, KY the son of Sylvester & Ina Clemons Pierce. He was a member of the St. Augustine Catholic Church and a truck driver for the City of Leitchfield.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Stevenson Pierce, three children, Rose Armstrong, Wayne Hayes (Rita), & Bonnie Pierce (Greg Embry), eleven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, four sisters, Joyce Carter (W. R), Sandra Bierly (Richard), Phyllis Higdon, & Ann Casebier (Bill), four brothers, Oran Pierce (Faye), Bruce Pierce (Donna), Mike Pierce (Melanie), & Dwayne Pierce (Carol), and several nieces & nephews. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Tom Hayes, one brother, Carmon Pierce, & one sister, Carol Sumner.
