He leaves to cherish his memory 2 sons; Chuck Townsend and Cage Townsend, 2 daughters; Amber Townsend and Takina Townsend, 4 borthers; Willie Townsend (Cynthia), John Townsend (Tanya), Anthony Townsend and Brian Townsend, 2 sisters; Martha White (Michael) and Marilyn Barnwell (Jerry), 3 grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
Public visitation will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Ivy K. Gillespie Memorial Chapel, 1865 Eastern Ave SE, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, September 28, 2018 at Ivy K. Gillespie Memorial Chapel, at 12:00 Noon. Friends may meet with the family one hour prior to services at 11:00 AM.
