Charles Faust, age 74, entered the gates of Heaven on Friday, Jan. 18, 2019. He was born June 21, 1944, in Williston, ND to Charles T. and Isabella ‘Jeanette’ (Innis) Faust.

He was a graduate of Tempe Union High School in 1962 and attended the University of Arizona. He married the love of his life, Maxine (Tankersley) on June 18, 1966. He worked for Bradford Britton Memorial and for the Springfield Art Museum.

He was the recipient of an award from the Wyoming State Historical Society for his research and published works. Charlie was a joyous person who impacted everyone he met. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.

He is survived by his daughter and her husband Allison and Tommy Wood; his son and his wife, Jeffrey and Glinda Faust; brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Connie Faust; as well as four grandchildren who he was so proud of; Sheridan Wood, Julia Baird, Brenner Wood and Madison Faust. Visitation is at Agape Funeral Chapel from 3-5 pm on Sunday, Jan. 20, 2019.

Services will be held on Monday, Jan 22, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. at Southcrest Baptist Church, conducted by Dr. Brandon Hays. Memorials can be made to The Carillon Foundation or South Plains Food Bank.
