Dear father of Charles Joseph Hansel and John Steven (Lisa) Hansel. Grandfather to Emily Hansel. He was survived by his nephew Ernest Lapier and his niece Caroline Rugenstien.

Visitation is Wednesday June 27th from 3-9 with a Scripture Service at 7 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R Road, (one block north of 13 Mile Road on the west side of John R Road) Thursday, June 28th Instate 9:30 with 11 am Mass at St. Vincent Ferrera, Madison Heights. Burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
