Obituary for Charles Hughes Charles Hughes, 61, of Orange, Texas, passed away on November 16, 2018, at his home in Orange. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Born in Transylvania, Louisiana, on January 11, 1957, he was the son of Walter Hughes and Gladys (Wynn) Hughes.

Charles worked as a welder for many years and later as a security guard. He loved going to the casino, and enjoyed motorcycles and barbequing. More than all else, he treasured the time he got to spend with his children, especially taking them fishing.

Charles will be dearly missed by all those who came to know and love him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Gladys Hughes; brother, Walter Hughes, Jr.; and granddaughter, Kaelyn Rose Weston. He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth “Lee” Hughes; children, Cynthia Weston and husband Douglas, and Debbie Hughes; step-children, Shelby James Mulhollan and wife Katie, and Raymond Keith Mulhollan and wife Penelope; grandchildren, Jeannie Marie Hughes & Maggie, Douglas IV, and Molly Weston; step-grandchildren, Louise Mulhollan & Brannon and Loxlea Mulhollan; and great-grandchild, Aiden Charles; along with numerous other loving family and friends.
