ATHOL – Charles J. Leadbetter, 45 of Athol, died unexpectedly Thursday, February 7, 2019 in the Athol Hospital, Athol. He was born in Gardner, on October 10, 1973, the son of Brian J. Leadbetter and the late Christine M. (Cook) Leadbetter. He grew up in Athol and graduated from Athol High School with the class of 1992.

He worked at the Bete Fog Nozzle Company in Greenfield. Charlie enjoyed fishing and camping and was an avid fan of the New England Patriots. He leaves his daughter, Lindsay Leadbetter of Athol; his father, Brian Leadbetter of Orange; his brother, Chad Leadbetter and his wife Nikki of Athol; his nephew Nelson Leadbetter; his niece, Abby Leadbetter and his good friend Aaron Stevens of Athol.

He was predeceased by his mother, Christine (Cook) Leadbetter. Charlie’s family will receive family and friends at calling hours on Friday, February 15, 2019 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Higgins-O’Connor Funeral Home 146 Main St., Athol. Burial will be at a later date and time to be announced.
