A Celebration of Life Service for Charles Jones, 66 of Hartselle, AL will be held at noon Monday, November 5, 2018 at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home with Brother Barry Brackins officiating and Inhumation in Hartselle Memory Gardens with Reynolds Funeral Home directing. Public viewing will be Sunday from 1-6 at Reynolds Funeral Home. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home.

Charles was born July 26, 1952 in Hartselle, Alabama to the late Albert Jones Sr. and Laura Mae White Jones. He departed this life on November 1, 2018 at Huntsville Hospital. Charles confessed Christ at an early age and was an active member of Pennylane Church of Christ.

He was an avid softball player that travelled anywhere to play. He was employed for many years at Busche Corporation (formerly Copeland). He was preceded in death by: his parents, Albert Jones Sr. and Laura Mae White Jones; sisters, Lizzie Bell Taylor, Francis Hereford; brothers, Albert Jones Jr., Billy Jones, Norah Jones and George Jones.

He leaves to cherish her precious memory: his wife, Thelma Sharpley-Bibb Jones of Hartselle; children, Adam Jones (Ashley) of Hartselle and April Ezell (Tarrell) of Memphis, TN; grandchildren, Jaylon, Jama and Zamya Jones, Malia, Arynn, Morgan and Xavier Ezell; siblings, Mary Turney (Bro. Marvin) of Huntsville, Susie Orr and Rosie Foster both of Hartselle, Lila Mae Malone of Decatur, Annie White (Joe) of Jeffersonville, IN; Johnny Jones (Eunice) of Hartselle; three sisters-in-law, Deborah Jones, Ella Jones of Hartselle and Carolyn Sharpley of Augusta, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Pallbearers and Flower Bearers will be Nephews and Nieces.
