Obituary for Charles Joseph Bourg Sr. Charles Joseph Bourg, Sr. passed away peacefully at his home on July 4, 2018 at the age of 75. Beloved husband of Louisa Mallet Bourg for 56 years. Son of the late Odelia Boudreaux Bourg and Irvin Bourg.

Loving father of Charles Bourg, Jr. (Shari) and Denise Nichols (Bobby). Grandfather of Aimee Fulghum (Justin), Christina Salwey (Craig), Allyson Nichols (Austin), Chandler Bourg (Stephanie), Brayden Bourg (Hannah), and the late Chase Joseph Bourg. Great-grandfather of Ashlyn and Aiden Walker, Sofia Salwey, Madelyn Hudson, and the late Paisley Hudson.

Brother of Belle Sutherland (Oliver), Judy Loup (CJ), and Donald Bourg. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family, and friends. Charles was a devoted Avondale Shipyards employee for 47 years.

Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd. , Marrero, LA on Monday, July 9, 2018 at 1:30 PM. Interment will be private.
