Obituary for Charles J. Saile Charles Joseph “Chic” Saile, age 75 of West Berlin, New Jersey passed away unexpectedly on October 23, 2018. He was born on November 24, 1942 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Joseph Charles Saile and Sophie (née Risnychok) Saile. He was a 1960 graduate of LaSalle High School and went on to LaSalle University graduating with a degree in Accounting.

He also attended Drexel University receiving a Master’s Degree in Management of Information Systems in 1993. “Chic” was employed by the Rohm and Haas Company in Philadelphia, PA for his entire 42 year working career. His career included various roles in Accounting, Finance, Operations Management and Information Technology.

He was known as a successful, reliable and hard working man. “Chic” had a strong work ethic and was truly selfless – always having time to assist or counsel others. In retirement he enjoyed extensive travel with his wife Mary, working out almost every day at the gym and spending time at the Jersey shore with his family.

“Chic” was committed to giving back and helping the underprivileged. He volunteered much of his time and energy to supporting charitable organizations such as Joseph’s House and Catholic Partnership Schools both in Camden, NJ. He also established scholarships for both Camden Catholic High School (Cherry Hill, NJ) and Holy Cross Academy (Delran, NJ).

These ongoing scholarships allow less fortunate children to obtain a Catholic education. He will be dearly missed and is survived by his beloved wife of 20 years, Mary; sister, Joyce (Bill) Kunkle; first wife, Joan (née Cashman) Starr and their children Richard, Lisa (Dave) Williams and Cheryl (Dave) Cauley; stepdaughter Susan (Matt) Massott; 7 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 27th at Bradley Funeral Home, 601 NJ 73 South at Evesham Rd.

, Marlton, NJ. The family will greet friends between 10:00am and 11:30am. A short memorial service will follow.

In lieu of flowers, those who so desire may make memorial donations in memory of “Chic” to Joseph’s House, 555 Atlantic Ave.
