Obituary for Charles Kenneth Cusic, Sr. Charles “Charlie” Kenneth Cusic, Sr. 74, of Mechanicsville, MD passed away on October 16, 2018 in Washington, DC. Born on January 28, 1944 in Leonardtown, MD, he was the son of the late Rose Bernette Mattingly Cusic and James Aubrey Cusic. Charlie was the loving husband of the late Mary Catherine Quade Cusic, whom he married on September 25, 1965 in Hollywood, MD and who preceded him in death on May 6, 2013.

Charlie is survived by his children; Kenny Cusic, Laura Wible-Cusic both of Hollywood, MD, James K. Cusic, Kelly M. Cusic both of Lusby, MD, and 4 grandchildren. As well as his siblings, Rose Marie Buckler, Mary Linda Cusic, and Catherine Ann Barber. He was a lifelong St. Mary’s County, MD resident.

Charlie was a Grounds Crew Worker for Southern Maryland Electric Company for 35 years. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Leonardtown, MD. A Funeral Service will follow at 7:00 PM in the Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Ammon Ripple officiating.
