A Memorial Service for Charles Lee Slater, age 77 of Clarksville, will be Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Christ Lutheran Church, 2425 Kirkwood Road, Clarksville, TN. Pastor Jeff Lott will officiate. His cremains will be placed in the Niche Wall at Middle TN Veterans Cemetery with full military honors.

The family will receive friends for one hour before the service at the church. Charles passed away on Friday, Jun 22, 2018 at his residence. He was born on Aug 23, 1940 in Susanville, CA to George and Iva Slater.

He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church. He served in the United States Army and was retired from Civil Service. Charles is survived by his daughter Tammy Denardi, brother Tommy Slater, sister Donna Christenson, grandsons; Robert Slater, John M. Denardi, and Daniel Denardi, and great granddaughter Brady.

He also leaves behind his beloved dog Buster.
