A Celebration of Life service for Johnny Ray Hood, age 46 of Cumberland Furnace, will be Tuesday, Sep 04, 2018 at 12:00 PM at Louise United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Louise Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Sep 04, 2018 from 11:00 PM to 12:00 PM Louise United Methodist Church.

Johnny passed away on Saturday, Sep 01, 2018 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. Johnny is preceded in death by his mother Diana Hood, brother Timothy Hood, and grandparents Doc Hood and Mamie Hood Moody. He is survived by his father Roger Hood, children; Dylan (Jessica) Hood and Justin Hood, brothers Mark (Anita) Hood and Duane Hood, and granddaughter Adira Faith.

Johnny was a servant hearted man, who was kind and compassionate. He was always ready to help anyone in need. He attended Yellow Creek Baptist Church.
