Obituary for Charles Melvin Agerton Charles Melvin “Mike” Agerton age 93 of Urbana, AR entered hid Heavenly Home on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at the John R. Williamson Hospice House in El Dorado. Charles was born on November 8, 1925 in Strong, AR to the late Clara Frisby Agerton and Wilson Agerton. He was a retired Electrician by trade, having worked 22 years at Georgia Pacific in Crossett before his retirement.

He was also a self, employed electrician and was the owner/operator of Mike’s Electric Service for many years. He was a charter member of One Community Church, formerly Good Samaritan Church in El Dorado and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and great great grandfather, representing five generations of family. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Billy Colvin Agerton and James O. Agerton; two sons in law, Eddie R. Yarbrough and James Cogburn.

Survivors include; his wife of 72 years, Dovie M. Agerton of Urbana; three daughters, Charlotte Yarbrough of El Dorado, Sherry Mitcham and husband Wayne of Urbana, and Penny Mitcham of El Dorado; six grandchildren, Kevin Yarbrough and wife Jennifer of El Dorado, Jason Yarbrough and wife Alisha of Spearsville, LA, Mauri Cogburn of El Doraado, Jamie Hudson and husband Ryan of Calion, Gina Hudson and husband Scotty of El Dorado, and Adrien Hicks and husband Kristian of Bossier City, LA; seventeen great grandchildren, Tori Osgood and husband Michael, Michaela Yarbrough, Ashton Yarbrough, Peyton Yarbrough, Sarah Yarbrough, Luke Yarbrough, Isabella McDaniel, Justice Turner, Evan White, Chancin Hooks, Seth Thurmon, Riley Thurmon, Dez Hudson and wife Kennedy, Hannah Hudson, Austin Allen, Adelyn Hicks and Hayden Hicks; five great great grandchildren and numerous nieces, and nephews. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Monday, December 17, 2018 at Bailey Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at One Community Church with Pastor, Jason Yarbrough and Rev.

Larry Andrews officiating. Burial will follow at Urbana Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be: Wayne Mitcham, Seth Thurmon, Kevin Yarbrough, Jerry Agerton, Dee Agerton, Ryan Hudson, Dez Hudson and Scotty Hudson.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Kristian Hicks, Evan white, Chancin Hooks and Ashton Yarbrough. The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff of Life touch Hospice for their compassion and care given to Mr. Agerton during his stay.
