Obituary for Charles ‘PeeWee’ Powell Charles William “PeeWee” Powell, 87, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018, at Tranquility Hospice at Kennesaw Mountain. PeeWee was a 1948 honor graduate of Marietta High School and was employed by Lockheed Aircraft Corporation for 35 years before retiring in 1986. PeeWee is survived by his loving wife, Anne J. “Jackie” Powell; three children, son Michael Powell and wife Victoria, daughter Marta Powell and partner Marnie, and son Mark Powell; grandchildren Stephanie Farnham, Matthew Powell, Amanda Powell, and Emily Powell; great-grandchildren Hunter Farnham and Owen Powell; sisters Barbara Russell and Jo Foster; brother Douglas Powell; and nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or to WellStar’s Tranquility Hospice at Kennesaw Mountain. A memorial service will be held at a later time. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Charles ‘PeeWee’ Powell please visit our Sympathy Store.
