Charles R. Sark, age 94,passed away Wed. January 2, 2019 at Caring Touch of Ohio. He was born June 28, 1924, son of Claude J. and Stella (Page) Sark on the family farm in Walnut Township, Pickaway County, OH.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Wilma M. (Robbins) Sark; daughter Marty Barr; grandsons Alan and Aaron Barr; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Bill and Peg Robbins, Darrell Robbins and Jeri Robbins; numerous nieces and nephews. Charles was preceded in death by a son John Stephen, parents Claude and Stella Sark, sister Gladys Noble and brother George Sark. Charles was a graduate of Walnut Township High School in 1942 and attended Franklin University.

He served in the U.S. Army World War II, 18th Medical Lab in Hawaii. He was foremost a farmer, but also did TV and radio repair, drove a school bus for 13 years and retired from E.I. Dupont after 20 years. Charles was a member of Pickaway F.&A.M. Lodge #23, Honorary Member of Lockbourne Lodge #232 and I.O.O.F.

Columbia #32. He attended Village Chapel for many years and enjoyed working in the church kitchen always smiling. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, Jan.

4th with Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. on Sat. Jan. 5th at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville, OH 43103 with Pastor Kevin Pees officiating.

AMVETS Military Service and Interment will follow at Reber Hill Cemetery, Ashville. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: Village Chapel Church, 30 Circleville Ave. Ashville, OH 43103 or Berger Hospice, 1170 No.
