Obituary for Charles Scott “Scooter” Morris Charles Scott “Scooter” Morris, age 53, of Brevard, passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2018. He was born on June 28, 1965 in Brevard, NC. Mr. Morris was preceded in death by his father, Charles Lewis Morris.

He was a 1983 graduate of Brevard High School and he loved gardening, farming and his animals. Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Susan Whitmire Morris; his mother, Anne S. Morris (Don Shimp) of Brevard; one daughter, Patience Angel Owen and husband Ray of Brevard; two sons, Charles Dylan Morris and wife Megan of Silversteen, and James McClane Morris of Brevard; one sister, Susan Jones and husband Keith of Pisgah Forest; two grandchildren who were the love of his life, Peyton and Graham; six special nieces and nephews, Lindy, Kolby, Kory, Maggie, Carter, and Mylah. A private family service will be held.
