Charles “Charlie” S. Berger age 78 a lifelong resident of Neville Island and Coraopolis passed away May 24, 2019 at the Family Hospice in Pittsburgh. Charlie was born in Stowe Twp. July 25, 1940 to the late Hazel Crites and John S. Berger.

He was a Vietnam Air Force Veteran, a member of VFW Post 402, Charlie was a house painter and did many homes in the Sewickley, Coraopolis area. He is survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister; Charlotte Berger Rabel and a brother Ronald Berger.

Friends will be received Tuesday, May 28, 2019, 4-8pm at Copeland’s Coraopolis where a Blessing Service will be held Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 9:30 AM followed by Burial at 11am in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies with Military Honors. Members of VFW Post 402 will conduct a Service on Tuesday at 7:00pm in the Funeral Home.
