Obituary for Charles “Steve” Stephen Riley Mr. Charles Stephen Riley “Steve”, age 72, of Charlotte, passed away on July 19, 2018 at home. Steve was born on July 28, 1945, son to the late Charles William Riley and Lemma Lake Andrews. In addition to his parents, Steve was also preceded in death by his brother Ronald Dale Riley; his sister Barbara Jean Riley; and by his nephew Christian Shawn Allen.

Steve was a Christian who loved the Bible, enjoyed nature, visiting the mountains and reading. Survivors include his children Shane, Ashley and Charles “Chip”; grandchildren Devon, Ashton, Summer JoLynn, Emily and Savannah; sister Debbie Allen; and nieces and nephews. Visitation and services will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Idlewild Baptist Church, 12701 Idlewild Road, Matthews, NC 28105.

Service will begin at 4:00PM with visitation to follow until 6:00PM Memorials may be made to Idlewild Baptist Church in lieu of flowers. An online guestbook is available at www. heritagecares.com.
