Charles W. Pilat, 79 of Elbridge passed away Tuesday at home. Born in Auburn, he grew up in Montezuma and graduated from Port Byron High School in 1958. Charles served in the Army from 1958 until 1966 when he was honorably discharged.

He was predeceased by his parents Walter and Martha, aunts, uncles and 2 nephews. Surviving are his wife Jean Burdorf Pilat, children Wendy (Maurice) Bigness, Jacqueline (John) McCarty, Christopher (Karen) Pilat, Daniel (Jackie) Pilat, brothers Paul and Tom, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Memorial Services will be 1:00pm Saturday, Jan.

12th in the Port Byron United Methodist Church, South Street. Spring burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Port Byron.

No calling hours. Contributions may be made to the Jordan Ambulance Fund or the SPCA.
