OBITUARY Charles W. Puckett Jr. October 31, 1934 – October 18, 2018 Charles W. Puckett Jr., age 83, of Cartersville, GA, passed away on Thursday October 18, 2018. Charles was born October 31, 1934 to Riddie Imo McIntyre Puckett and Charles William Puckett Sr. in Cartersville, GA. Charles was a true deacon at heart.

He continuously served friends, family and shut-ins (Meals On Wheels)throughout his entire life. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing, woodworking and knife-making. Charles shared his skills and experience with his children and grandchildren.

He was a faithful servant to his church and congregation. Charles loved to garden and shared those blessings with widows and family. Charles served with the United States Air Force in the Korean War.

Charles is survived by; daughter Cindy (Luck) Puckett Watford; and son Steven (Maranatha) Puckett; sister Sue (Jerry) Bevil and sister Julia Puckett; grandson Phillip Ferguson, granddaughter Makayla Watford, grandson Daniel Puckett, granddaughter Chloe Puckett, grandson Isaac Puckett, great grandson Caden Ferguson and great granddaughter Rilyn Ferguson and son-in-law, David Ferguson. Charles was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Donna Lindsey Puckett; daughter Deborah Puckett Ferguson; father Charles William Puckett and mother Riddie Imo McIntyre. A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted in the Owen Funeral Home Chapel Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at two o’clock in the afternoon with the Rev.

Richard Brown officiating. Interment will follow the service at Oak Hill Cemetery , Cartersville, GA. The family will receive friends at Owen Funeral Home Monday, October 22, 2018 from four o’clock in the afternoon until eight.
