OBITUARY Patricia Penfield Williams June 13, 1938 – October 17, 2018 Patricia Kay Penfield Williams, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2018. Mrs. Williams was born on June 13, 1938 in College Park, MD, daughter of the late William E. Penfield and Pansy Mae Owens Penfield. Mrs. Williams was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and dog lover.

Mrs. Williams retired from Chemical Products in 2001 after thirty years of dedicated service. She was an avid southern cook and gardener. She enjoyed spending time outdoors.

She was a true and faithful servant of the Lord and a proud member of Heritage Baptist Church. Mrs. Williams is survived by her loving husband of thirty-five years, Stephen Williams; two sons, Chuck Shropshire and Landy Shropshire; two daughters, Heather (Jim) Almand and Brooke (Jeff)Johnson; grandchildren, Emma Almand and William Almand; brother, Norman (Linda)Penfield; niece, Samantha (Jeff) Winn; special cousins, Susan Beecham and Cindy Scott; and a loving Maltese, Sissy. A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at eleven o’clock in the morning on Saturday, the 20th of October, 2018 in East View Cemetery, Adairsville, GA with Rev.

Jim Pinkard officiating. Serving as pallbearers are Wayne Thacker, David Taylor, Ed Farmer, Ed Anderson, Jason Abercrombie and Luke Leatherwood. Honorary pallbearers are Larry Graves, Joe Roland and Truman La France.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from five o’clock in the evening until eight on Friday, the 19th of October, 2018 at Owen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Heritage Baptist Church, 1070 Douthitt Ferry Rd. , Cartersville, GA 30120.
